The Congress Novas Fronteiras em Medicina Cardiovascular (New Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine), organised by AIDFM with the scientific coordination of the Department of Coração e Vasos (Heart and Vessels) of the University Hospital of Santa Maria, CHULN-CAML, is a key event in the Portuguese scientific medical panorama.

It will take place on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th February 2019, at The Village Praia D'El Rey, in Óbidos. It will be an opportunity for all participants to have postgraduate training in the field of Cardiovascular and Cardio-thoracic Medicine with the collaboration of many national and foreign experts.

This Congress intends to promote a discussion on the new frontiers in diagnosis and therapeutics in Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Medicine, mainly in areas of Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension, Cardiovascular Imaging, Interventional Cardiology, and Arrhythmology, Coronary Disease, Valvopathies, Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
