The Congress, already in its ninth edition, has the participation of several professionals from the field of Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Medicine, thus contributing to boost the discussion on the new frontiers in diagnosis and therapeutics in Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Medicine, particularly in the areas of Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension, Cardiovascular Imaging, Interventional Cardiology and Arrhythmology, Coronary Disease, Valvopathies, Myocardiopathies, Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Despite being a meeting primarily aimed at Cardiologists, Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgeons, we decided to enlarge its scope to those Colleagues whose area of intervention covers cardiovascular diseases, such as internists, intensivists, surgeons, family physicians, nurses, and technicians.
